Marc Willers has been winning on 20-millimeter freewheel hubs for nearly two years, so there’s no longer any reason to think freewheels suck. With a quality freewheel you’ll get thousands of skip-free starts, sprints and laps, something very few hub makers can guarantee. And even if you buy a mediocre freewheel, it will be a lot easier and cheaper to replace than a blown cassette hub. And there are other advantages: freewheel hubs cost less, weigh less and, most important, work with 20-millimeter axels without any compromises. Hollow Hubs aren’t repurposed mountain bike hubs; they are designed from the ground up specifically for BMX. The shells are cold forged and CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and fitted with precision sealed bearings and 20-millimeter, 7075 aluminum axles and axle nuts. Besides 100- front and 110-millimeter rear spacing, they also feature oversize, 32-millimeter, dropout interface washers, which further increase the stiffness of the wheels. Available in anodized red, blue, gold and black with laser-etched graphics and contrasting black interface washers and are drilled for 36-hole rims.

Our expert mechanic pulls your bike out of the box and builds it to 100%, excluding accessories (i.e racks and baskets). We tune the brakes and gears then test ride to ensure everything runs smoothly.
We then take off a few simple parts to fit the bike into the box. We double check to ensure all the parts are enclosed, before sealing the box and sending to you.
