The ultimate kids' first bike

E-250 | Ages: 3 - 5 | Height: 85 - 102cm

Ability level: Learning to ride their first bike

Push, Run or Pedal – This is three bikes in one! With a detachable push handle, low ergonomic frame and ultralight weight, learning to ride has never been easier. With rolling dynamics 30% superior to others, the E-250 is the best first bike experience you can give your child.

Design

ByK wanted to create a two-wheeler that would be an ideal fit for children, so it considered shoulder width, riding position, safety and comfort when contemplating the E250. The resulting bike is light and easy to ride, with an ergonomic design.

Small children have a narrow pelvis, so the saddle is padded and matches the size of their body, ensuring that they ride in comfort and the correct position.

Performance

With a lightweight, alloy ergonomic frame and low-gravity concept, the E250 is about 30% more efficient than comparative kids' bikes.  At just 7+kgs, it is a light bike for this age group – and light wheels make pedalling easier!

Safety

Riders need to be able to brake efficiently and confidently. ByK has used an alloy side-pull front calliper for developing immediate hand control, and a coaster brake allows simple and safe foot-braking at the rear.

The custom-sized alloy V-brake is non-flexing, strong, light, and calibrated for age, ability and ergonomic fit. Lightweight alloy rims ensure easier pedalling, but more importantly, they provide a more safe and efficient braking surface than cheaper, chrome-plated steel rims.

Features:

  • Detachable push handle for helping get the rider up to balance speed
  • Quick-release seat clamp to easily remove push handle
  • Custom length cranks
  • Smooth running tyres to reduce road friction and noise so your child can hear safety instructions
  • Ergonomic riding triangle between pedals
  • Seat and handlebars for best balance and control

Please note that our specifications may be impacted by manufacturer component substitution changes caused by high global demand for bikes and resulting supply chain issues in the bike industry. We recommend confirming the specifications with your local Evo Cycles showroom if you have any questions.

Bike Weight: Many brands strive to list the lowest possible weight, but in reality weight can vary based on frame size, finish, hardware and accessories. The most accurate way to determine any bike's weight is to have your local showroom weigh it for you.
