This Shimano XTR M9000 Shadow+ 11-Speed Rear mech features a refined shadow RD plus clutch rear derailleur, a new front derailleur structure and a new XTR chain (CN-HG900-11), to offer industry-leading drivetrain stability.

This XTR rear derailleur has Shimano's Shadow+ design, which optimizes the slant angle to lower shift effort. In turn, the XTR rear derailleur has improved shifting and driving stability as the derailleurs low-profile delivers protection from harm’s way.

The new Shadow+ clutch has a simpler external clutch adjustment, and the Shimano XTR M9000 Shadow+ 11-Speed rear mech has a wider range of adjustment for easier setup.
