Shimano's Deore M617 front derailleur features trickled down technology from their XTR range, namely in its "side swing" feature. This design creates much better rear tyre clearance and a massive reduction in shifting effort. The Deore M617 also features a steel reinforced chain guide to improve rigidity, which improves shift quality.

Features:

  • Side swing, side pull front derailleur increases tyre clearance and reduces cable friction
  • Reinforced steel chain guide adds rigidity and improved response
  • Wider pivot link increases torsional rigidity
  • Easy access angled adjustment screws and clamp bolt
  • Angled inner chain guide tail for increased tyre clearance
  • Dyna-Sys 10-speed design - for use with Dyna-Sys 10-speed MTB drivetrains
  • Direct frame fit ensures accurate installation and perfect alignment
  • Specifically developed for 68 and 73mm bottom bracket shells with a 48.8mm chain line
  • Compatible with Boost 148mm standard
