Available in two arm lengths, both the long 108-millimeter and short 85-millimeter Eclipse brake arms are cold forged and CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum. Cold forging produces the strongest, stiffest, lightest weight and most durable bicycle parts.
Both sizes feature 35 millimeters of vertical brake pad adjustment—more than most linear-pull brakes. Other features include precision sealed bearing pivots, titanium and stainless steel hardware, a flexible cable noodle and streamlined cable fixing point. Included are color-matched X-Ray brake shoes, which feature a stiffer cold forged and CNC-machined cartridge body, triple-compound pads for superior braking and pivoting mounting posts for perfect pad alignment.
The long-reach brakes are excellent for BMX, mountain, city, urban, gravel and tandem bicycles using linear-pull-compatible levers. The 85-millimeter “Mini-V” brakes are an excellent choice for cyclocross bikes.

You purchase your bike from evocycles.co.nz
Our expert mechanic pulls your bike out of the box and builds it to 100%, excluding accessories (i.e racks and baskets). We tune the brakes and gears then test ride to ensure everything runs smoothly.
We then take off a few simple parts to fit the bike into the box. We double check to ensure all the parts are enclosed, before sealing the box and sending to you.

You use 2-3 common tools to fit a few simple parts. If you get stuck, use our help centre and bike assembly guides or give us a call and we'll talk you through the process.
