Tyler, one of the Evo web developers talks through his Giant TCR and the changes he's made to it to allow him to commute, train and race on it. The Giant TCR is an unbeatable all-rounder which is lightweight, ultra-efficient and perfect for training rides to racing.

2019 Giant TCR Advanced Pro 1 Disc
I wanted a fast, aggressive bike that I could train on 6 days a week but wouldn't hold me back in a race.
I love the Shimano Ultegra disc brakes. They let me ride or race no matter what the weather is, they even let me commute on this 5 days a week when I wouldn't have been able to do this on my previous carbon wheel rim brake bikes.
Garmin Vector 3s power meter pedals, Pro Stealth carbon railed saddle, Continental GP5000 tubeless tyres, and a Garmin Edge 520 with a cnc K-Edge out front mount. One of the other things I love about this bike is how well the Bontrager Ant+ lights connect with my garmin computer, it lets me easily check battery levels and light setting while im out on my evening training rides. For me it really killed range anxiety, letting me ride for longer in the evenings.
I prefer to ride anywhere the road pitches upwards, I love a good climb so normally around cambridge. Hamilton tends to be pretty flat.
The ride feel of this bike is outstanding, it feels so lively and always wants to go fast. Fast up a hill, fast down a hill and fast in a sprint.
