Red Bull Pump Track World Cup Qualifier - Cambridge

What a day of pump track racing in Cambridge! Even with a stacked global field of riders we saw local riders take the win in a fast, action packed day.

Evo was an official partner for the Red Bull Pumptrack World Qualifiers in Cambridge last Saturday. We were on site all day and provided the official tech support stand to look after all of the racers bikes. A smoking hot day meant the asphalt was grippy and brows were sweaty!

The theme for the day quickly became bmx vs. mtb. Who is faster, who will take it out. Michael Bias looked like weaponry out on his warm up runs, he was the early favourite at the Evo Tent and the eventual winner on the day.

The Evo riders flew through qualifying rounds but the competition started to heat up fast as the day went on.

  • RMC - Top 16
  • Lester Perry - Qualified 30th but had to take the cranky groms home, giving his spot up.
