The bike that ruled the podium at the height of mountain bike racing is back to reclaim the top step. Refined and reinvigorated with new technology, Top Fuel is the fastest bike on the trail.
The better-than-ever Top Fuel is the fast, versatile choice for the cross country racer, marathon rider, and the entire Trek Factory Racing World Cup team.
The OCLV Mountain Carbon frame comes with a FOX F32 SC Factory fork, FOX Factory Float RE:aktiv XC shock, SRAM XX1 Eagle 12-speed drivetrain, DT Swiss XMC1200 Carbon Boost wheels, SRAM Level Ultimate disc brakes and fast Bontrager XR1 Team Issue tires.
OCLV Mountain Carbon
It takes advantage of Trek's patented OCLV process but the lay-up is adapted for the rigors of off-road use. By reinforcing select areas of the frame with unique materials, OCLV Mountain technology creates a strong, durable frame while preserving the low weight and great feel of a carbon fiber frame. Today, every carbon mountain bike they make is built using OCLV Mountain Carbon-carbon that's tougher than the trail, without the added weight.
Most suspension systems attach the bottom of the shock to a fixed frame mount. That fixed mount can contribute to a harsh ride. Trek solved that with Full Floater, attaching the shock to two moving linkage points so it can better respond to bumps across a wide variety of terrain. It feels like more travel, but it's not. It's smarter travel.
RE:aktiv XC's race-tuned regressive damping delivers a greater pedaling platform and higher degree of responsiveness without sacrificing plush control.
Mino Link Geo Adjust
Fine tune head tube angle by 1/2° and BB height by up to 10 mm with the simple turn of a nut. Just flip the link to choose between slack or slacker geometry, without negatively affecting suspension performance. A Trek exclusive.
Boost 148/110 - Wider dropouts (110 mm front, 148mm rear) give you the stiffness of a 27.5" wheel with all the benefits of a 29" wheel, and Boost148 in the rear lets you run wider tires and a larger chainring without affecting q-factor and pedaling efficiency.
Active Braking Pivot
Other full suspension systems firm up under braking, reducing your control when you need it most. Trek's patented Active Braking Pivot solves that by keeping your suspension active whether you're on the brakes or off. When your suspension stays active under braking, you stay in control. You can brake later in a turn, maintain better rear wheel traction in stutter bumps, go faster, and just have more fun.
The exclusive EVO Link system connects the main frame to the rear triangle with a one-piece rocker link, creating a stiffer frame for greater control with minimal weight. It's a stronger, lighter rocker.
MicroTruss housing guides are built directly into the frame, for the lightest, cleanest external cable routing.
Internal derailleur routing
Sleek ports at the head tube and near the seat tube let you route your derailleur cables through the frame to keep your bike running smooth and clean.
E2 Tapered Head Tube
E2 tapers from a 1.5" lower to a 1-1/8" upper to provide mare material where it matters most, for a stronger, lighter frame with point-and-shoot control.
Down Tube Guard
Replaceable external shield protects the down tube from trail debris.****NOTE: This bike is available for purchase online, but must be picked up from an approved store.

You purchase your bike from evocycles.co.nz
Our expert mechanic pulls your bike out of the box and builds it to 100%, excluding accessories (i.e racks and baskets). We tune the brakes and gears then test ride to ensure everything runs smoothly.
We then take off a few simple parts to fit the bike into the box. We double check to ensure all the parts are enclosed, before sealing the box and sending to you.
Your bike arrives!
You use 2-3 common tools to fit a few simple parts. If you get stuck, use our help centre and bike assembly guides or give us a call and we'll talk you through the process.
